The Impact of COVID-19

As of the time of this writing, Trace, Will, and I are all doing fine. We are hoping that y’all are doing fine as well and coping with the bizarre impacts that this virus has had on our ways of life. It’s hard to think of anyone or anything that hasn’t been affected in some way by this horrible virus.

Trace has continued to work from home as usual so very little has changed in that regard for him. As for me, Magnolia has shut down the Market at the Silos until 30 Mar 2020, so I am home for the duration. So far, there are about 57 cases in Texas but no reported cases in our McLennan County. We continue to worry about our son, Will who is living in NYC. He was sent home to work from home early last week after an employee in his company was diagnosed with the virus. Thankfully, he did not have any contact with that person, but as parents we just can’t help worrying about him.

So I am keeping myself busy by getting caught up with this blog, and researching all of the choices we have to make for our new house (i.e. plumbing fixtures, electrical fixtures, flooring, appliances, roofing, bricks, stone, fireplace mantels, etc. etc.). Should be enough to keep me busy for awhile.

Hope y’all take care of yourselves and each other during this time!!
